VOICE AUDITIONS

FOR SCHOLARSHIPS*

 

We will be holding voice scholarship auditions in several cities throughout

the United States and in Europe*. 

A limited number of scholarships are available based on merit, and

singers must be accepted into the Symposium before a scholarship will be awarded.

Conductors can use their application videos for scholarship consideration.

The sites for the scholarship auditions are listed below.  

 *In order to audition for a scholarship, you must have submitted a completed application  packet to  John Ratledge via email at  john.ratledge@gmail.com

 (Application form, vita, current videos, as well as having  paid the $50/€45 application fee)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Electronically send a curriculum vitae, repertoire list, and YouTube or equivalent recording of two pieces in contrasting styles for conductors, and two pieces in contrasting languages for singers (no more than 20 minutes  in total length) to:  john.ratledge@gmail.com.

 

Completed applications will then be evaluated by the Board of Directors.  Those who pass this  preliminary screening will be notified via email by the Director of the Symposium that they have proceeded into the next phase of consideration, and individuals  will not hear anything further until all of the auditions are completed.  Notification of full acceptance and of scholarship awards will be made on or before 15 March 2017.
