Individuals have asked if there is some way that they could financially participate in our program, and the answer is, "A resounding yes!"   We need financial backing to help young aspiring artists participate in this unique symposium.  International travel is expensive, and lodging and food costs in Italy are costly as well;  however, we have tried to keep our costs as low as possible to offer the most opportunities for everyone.  There were still gifted individuals who simply couldn't afford to come to the symposium.  Please make a contribution through the Symposium Scholarship Fund at First United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

In addition, I have established the  Marian D. Ratledge Vocal  Fellow-ship (Kathleen Buccleugh 2018, Braun Oldencamp, 2017, Niamh O'Sullivan 2016), and the Loyd F. Hawthorne Conducting Fellowship (Dr. Imgyu Kang 2016, 2018) to acknowledge the contributions of these outstanding conductors/teachers in my life and the amazing impact that my Mother had on me and the world at large.  Please consider establishing  a scholarship in the name of someone dear to you.

Named scholarships are $1500 (honoring friends or family who are alive or deceased).   Of course, you can be a contributor at any level you wish. We simply need your help.
